This policy explains what personal data Monk Mantra collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.
1. What we collect
When you contact us
When you request an audit or send an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, practice name or website, practice type and any message.
When you browse
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and records your approximate location, device, browser, pages viewed and referring site. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and loading speed without cookies. Our host keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any patient's health information through this website.
2. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare the audit you asked for.
- To manage any engagement that follows.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
By submitting the form you consent to us using your details for the first two purposes. We will not add you to a marketing list without separate consent.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that run this website and our communications: our hosting provider (Vercel), our email provider (which delivers your enquiry to our inbox) and Google (analytics). Each processes the data on our behalf. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any engagement that follows, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. Write to hello@monkmantra.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Patient data in client work
When we build or run software for a clinic or hospital, the practice decides how its patients' data is used and is the Data Fiduciary. We act as its Data Processor under a written agreement. See our Data Processing Agreement.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to respond.
